Our Journey

Marcia and Doug were married in 2007. In the beginning of our marriage, we were both fully engaged in corporate careers. Working full-time careers, with a nice house, nice vehicles, etc. we still weren’t satisfied with what life had to offer. In 2010, we began a season of reflection with two big questions: 1) What is the point of our marriage? And 2) What do we want our lives to look like in the end? As God led us through these questions, things began to change. The mantra over the next few years became “Cost less to Give More”, and “Our desire is to hear Him say Well done good and faithful servants.”

As we have continued along God’s path for our family, He has continued to stretch us and move us to new places. In January 2017, We began to follow God’s leading even further, and we continued to grow in our heart for missions. We were exploring names to stamp on all our ministry activities. One idea came through a dream, and that was the beginning of Veritas Shapes Ministries, Intl. Through this ministry, God has been sending us into the harvest field both locally and globally and used our abilities in so many ways! 5 years later we are living as full-time missionaries in the U.S., and living for God's Kingdom. Now with two children and two younger staff members, who are part of the family, we can say “This has been such an incredible faith journey for us, and we would have never imagined that this is where our family would be and what we would be doing with our lives!”.

Our goal is to raise $2,500 a month. We are so thankful for all those who support us, because we know it is an investment in what God is doing in our lives. If you feel led to partner with us please click the donate button.
